Tech Neck & Skin Care for Neck

Hey beauties! If you're anything like me and tend to spend a lot of time on your phone and lap top, you might have noticed the formation of lines and wrinkles around your neck (like I have). Did you know that these lines are in part caused by the constant scrunching and folding of the neck while slouching over your gadgets? This condition is actually called tech neck and is something that our parents never had to deal with when they were younger. Lucky for us, there's now amazing skin care targeted specifically for the neck area to take care of this issue and help prevent further damage. Hey beauties! Today, I wanted to share with you my new favorite collection of liquid lotions from Erborian, a French-Korean fusion skin care line. You've seen me talk about Erborian in several of my YouTube videos, and I particularly love this line for its multi-benefit purposes and the way the products work hand-in-hand with makeup. These lotions are very versatile and can be used throughout the day for various skin needs, so I made a little "Day In The Life" video tutorial showcasing some of my favorite ways to use them. Hair Hacks: Thicker Hairline + Fuller Ponytail

Hey beauty lovers of the world! I told y'all last week I'm BACK!! Today's post is a goodie that I've been wanting to share for so long, but been a bit hesitant chicken about it... Anyway, I finally decided to "let it rip" and created a video showcasing two of my favorite hair techniques, popularly dubbed as hacks, to make your ponytail appear fuller and your hairline appear thicker. Things have been absolutely insane on our end between traveling and projects, so it's been tough finding the time for blogging. In good news, my social media channels like IG, Snapchat (MaryamNYC) & FB are updated daily and my YouTube channel is steadily growing. Woot Woot!! With that said, I'm going to make an honest effort to revive my blog and get back into the swing of things. Nautical Nails & Toes!

Hey beauties! If you think this nail art looks familiar, you're correct! This weeks "Pin-Up" Nautical theme was inspired by my "I Heart My Sailor" Nail Art from two years ago. This time, instead of hand painting, I'm using a few various nail polish appliqués and taking the design a bit further. I rarely match my nails to my pedi, but this summery Sailor theme was too cute to pass by, so I also implemented it in dressing up my toesies. Quick post today beauties, just wanted to share my latest obsession for Asa Kaftans "Lagos" kaftan-dress, designed by my amazing friend Asa Soltan. Asa picked the perfect high and low trendy style and the most luxurious snakeskin pattern, and this combo made the dress so versatile and flattering. Not only is it the perfect glamorous cover-up for the beach, but it's also just a stunning piece that can dress up any hot summer night when worn with heels. The best part is that the kaftan takes minimal styling since it's already such a statement piece. Just add your favorite coral lipstick or nails and you're good to go!

Summer Wine Inspo: Chardonnay Coastal Beauty

Hey beauties! If you follow me on Snapchat, you've probably witnessed some of my ritualistic wine twirls, tastings and sips as a reward after a long production day. I admit, I do love to unwind avec un verre -- who doesn't? -- and find it so relaxing after work. Ever so often, Lee and I get to enjoy a bit of business with pleasure when wine and work cross paths. Today is one of those lucky days and I'm so excited to introduce my love for wine to my beauty blogging venture. Before I tell you about my summer special wine collab, let me take it back and explain why this is so up my alley!

My love affair for the beauty of wine started a few years ago when I spent some time living in Paris. I began to appreciate it not just for its taste or the good times, but also for the intricacies of wine making and pairing, not to mention the story that it told. Each wine has its own mood and attitude that can be interpreted through art, beauty and fashion. Today, I'm thrilled to announce my Summer Beauty collab with Chloe Wine, probably my most fun-filled collab to date! For the next few summer months, I'll be creating makeup looks, sharing outfits and video tutorials inspired by some of my favorite Chloe wines and today's post is the first look from the series, a coastal take on beauty and fashion, inspired by Chardonnay.

"Tribal Lace" Summer Nail Art

This army print has been a go-to of mine since I was about 12 years old and it still works every time I want to toughen up an outfit.
